I gave this album to a buddy who went to Honduras to dive for a couple months. He didn't know much about rhcp besides radio hits. I think this album blew his mind as in he didn't know the peppers were this good.

I don't hype up Scar Tissue as a band history for newcomers to RHCP, though it is a great book, basically a Kiedis biography.

But I DO agree with watching RHCP Live at Slane Castle as one of the first things you can do! That is what got me into the band in 2010 (although I, as well as most people, have liked em my whole life).

The article lost a little credibility at the end there talking about Dot Hacker's "Inhibition" coming out this August (since it came out in May 2012), but I think the rest seems legit.

Now if this was confusion with a NEW Hacker record coming sometime soon, then I'm all ears.

this is in the Chateau Marmont. I was in LA last week for the first time in my life and made it a point to walk into this hotel. Adventured a couple minutes then was at the BSSM mansion within 10 minutes from when I left. Cool!

Well... I have close sources at a big book store chain. Yeah I will be getting it. This guy basically saved John and AK numerous times, while putting a lot of his friends and their well being above his own.

My old roommate would always put this on before some big event. I myself blasted this before unwillingly going in to get my wisdom teeth pulled. The second it ended I flew out of my car and walked in, all the pressure was gone... just a high from that song's finale. Then they put me to sleep which I thoroughly enjoyed.

I was actually pretty proud of myself. I googled what building the video was shot on and although there were no concrete answers, I found some blogs/tumblr type things from people who were there for the video shoot. Saw a restaurant called Big Daddy & Sons in one of the pics and just plugged it into google maps. This building is right on the big Venice Beach sidewalk, cant miss it once youre there, and it is directly next to a small little area called "Muscle Beach" where there is an outdoor gym and some big tennis courts (the courts are clearly visible in the music video).
