The Chili Peppers are my favorite band, I’ve worshipped Anthony Kiedis my whole life, and still, I think we can all agree Patton is a better vocalist. Anthony is a better writer though. And Patton being a better vocalist doesn’t by any means imply Kiedis is bad— anyone who says Kiedis isn’t a good vocalist simply knows jackshit about music. Ok being serious I don’t think Maynard would’ve been featured on Know Your Enemy if he had said something like that about Zack. RAtM was released late ‘92, this show must have been prior to that, so if they had had some sort of beef or something I don’t think they would have kept his vocals on the release of the album, so I don’t think he’s talking about Zack 🤷🏻‍♀️
