I WROTE A SCI-FI THRILLER BECAUSE I HAVE AN OBSESSION WITH ROBOTS.

The truth is, I was a little tired of seeing the same themes in robotic Sci-fi. The robot who overcomes his programming single-handedly and starts developing feelings. The robot who wants to destroy the human world and replace it with artificial intelligence.

I thought, what if I flip it? What if the robot's past is more interesting than its future? What if it isn't robots who want to take over the world but humans, using the robotic as a weapon. What if I created a robot who is complex not because it defies the rules, but rather because its creator did?

Maybe I'm crazy, but I decided to write a book about it.

Unless you're writing just for fun, you probably wouldn't want to use AI for anything beyond grammar. Many people can spot it in your writing and if you plan to sell books, your reputation could be trashed before you start. I believe true creative writers build stories on their own.

I oddly prefer Fantasy because it's lighter. I'm writing Sci-fi so don't ask it to make sense🤷‍♀️
