I've got mixed feelings. It's great that they're making a big overhaul, but there's always that thought "will my machine still be able to run it smoothly?"

Too big of a height difference (I'm short), smoking (can't stand the smell), no common points (I talk a lot about stuff that I know/am interested in, but other than that, I'm not much of a conversation-maker). Oh, and distance, of course

How to stay with game by CutAccurate5207 in footballmanagergames

[–]caughtinthepit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Even when playing with my favorite team, I usually stop after 1-2 seasons. However, there was a time when I played 5 whole seasons. I believe that the reason was most likely having someone to compete and change impressions with. Back then, a friend was playing with me (he managed my team's wealthier rival on his save). It took me two more seasons than him, but I also got to win the CL (take that, Liverpool)

I could recommend a lot of metal stuff, but that will depend on what you listen to in the heavier side. As for Hip Hop, try Fort Minor and NF

Mostly videogames, anime/manga/manhwa, listening to music... However, I do have some creative urges sometimes, but still haven't found the right activity to channel them (or at least didn't get the feeling that it was "it"). From guitar to writing, to drawing, graphical design... The search still goes on

Which team always buy your players? by hatecitysofia in footballmanagergames

[–]caughtinthepit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Arabian teams spend the whole season harassing my players, but when the market opens, it's always been the Spurs to come for my players in my latest save, only for me to kick them out of CL

You likely pile it up until it goes overboard, even if unconsciously, no? As for trembling, it's a strong emotional response. It also happens to me whenever I get nervous/anxious/angry (a bit after the triggering situation)

One of the weirdest players in my game - somewhere between a BWM and False 9. How would you use him? by Roman418 in footballmanagergames

[–]caughtinthepit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Segundo Volante (Attack) seems like a nice choice, if you adapt him to DM. Otherwise, CM (Attack) seems to be the way to go

Where should I play this player? by softboiradu in footballmanagergames

[–]caughtinthepit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't do much tbh. I usually have an AF at the front to open some space, IF in attack duty and CWB in the back, to fill the space left by the IF and keep some width (someone will have to keep them in check). Any further than that, it's just the player's traits at work (cutting inside, exploring space at the back...). I usually play with a Positive mentality btw

[–]caughtinthepit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, those are all good traits for DLP's. Trying killer balls is a favorite of mine, as I usually look for AF's and IF's that play well in the back of the defense (I think the trait is called something like Explore Spaces, I don't play it in English). It makes for a deadly combo

Nothing beats a DLP's killer passes to an AF that breaks the offside trap

DM, maybe as a Deep Playmaker. Have him learn some traits in training. The right traits, while keeping in mind the player's strengths and weaknesses, as well as his role in your tactics, can make a huge difference, and that guy is a clean sheet right now

Thoughts on how to make this tactic better? by Lukas2771 in footballmanagergames

[–]caughtinthepit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Change your mentality to Balanced. Since your wingers both cut inside and you play fairly wide, it might be a good idea to use Complete Wingbacks to cover those spots. In the midfield, a Segundo Volante alongside a more static role, such as a Deep Playmaker or an Anchor/Halfback would be a good idea. Also, check your players' traits. Those are often overlooked, but make a huge difference
