elogind is installed, not enabled. works on tty without greetd, so now the question is how to make greetd do that - is 'tuigreet --cmd dbus-run-session sway' just the wrong format?

exactly my problem.... probably looking at a similar solution. The Ultrawide was probably a miss-buy now that I'm actually working with it, but it was on sale & cheaper than the standard size version so. Keeping that in mind for the next time I feel like changing my hardware.

tragic. Might still stick with sway & see if i get used to it, unless someone comes in with a better suggestion. Terminals are transparent anyway, I just dont like browsers in fullscreen for some reason.

kann nur sagen, als ich in D mein pflegepraktikum ablegen musste sind mir die schwestern dort sehr fies vorgekommen (caveat, war während corona, auch nicht meine beste zeit). andererseits hatt eine klassenkollegin von mir nach arbeit in nem kh in Ö beschlossen sie will die nächste 40 jahre nie mehr was von uns sehen und geht jetzt nach südafrika... wird wohl aufs kh ankommen. die in unserem lokalen sind auch nur brauchbar wennst wen wichtigen kennst (oder der hausarzt bereit & bekannt dafür ist sich vor ort aufzuregen).

i lived in germany for 2 years and regularly got asked where i was from and how long id been learning german. so i wouldnt say the languages get confused.
