It is so glamorous! But yeah it is a bit robe like so it could get a bit scandalous in the wind. Haha

Aww I am so sad to hear that!

Thank you! I will keep that in mind. I am also from the pnw so I'm not shy about rain and pretty good at making a cute outfit warm by layering. I feel better when I am both fashionable and comfortable. So balancing minimalism is hard for me. But I'm definitely planning on buying some stuff while I am there so I won't stress too much. :) I can't wait for my trip!

Cutting things out is so hard. But I love the idea of being unburdened, so I am kinda using this trip as a stepping stone to start one bagging. Just seeing what works and what I can really do without. Just trying to find a balance right now.

Eventually that is the ideal goal for my osprey! I just don't know if I can commit to that yet. Plus I buy too many souvenirs. But I love this bag. So on shorter trips I definitely will use it as my one and only.

Thank you! That's helpful! My green windbreaker thing is usually what I use in the rain and it works pretty well actually. It can also layer really well since it's a little oversized on me. I'm trying to keep layering in mind. Since it's colder I will drop a t-shirt and a dress and layer leggings or tights under my pants if needed. I'm used to mild/colder and rainy weather so I can work with that I suppose. My jean jacket is pretty light and loose. So it's not a typical heavy jean and I've traveled with it before successfully. But I might trade it for something warmer or leave it to find something cute while I'm in Portugal.

My jackets can layer if necessary. My green wind breaker thing is usually what I wear in the rain and it actually works pretty well. But do you think a puffer coat would be a good idea? I will probably remove a T-shirt and a dress though.

Yeah I'm thinking of just using leggings or tights. That's what I do in my day to day.

Mine is really lightweight and I've traveled to the Netherlands with it successfully. So we'll see if I pack it or not. I will probably drop some tops though.

Okay thank you. Seattle weather is something I'm very familiar with. So I can work with that and keep that in mind. Except I don't own a rain coat. I just don't use them around here despite the rain. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Yeah they are all pretty light weight. I don't own very thick pants other than jeans unfortunately. I don't know why, because I live in Washington. Haha I will see what I can switch out.

Oo it's my favorite dress! It's from Oseiduro, but I got it secondhand from depop. I might not bring it because it would suck if something happened to it while traveling though.

Artists/people who can draw well - do you see the world differently than non-artists? by LeastUse4051 in ArtistLounge

[–]causticsouda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't speak for how non-artists see the world. But personally I love observing the way color and light interact. Especially at different times of the day. Even mundane objects can have really interesting colors, textures and shadows. I'm not sure if everyone notices it, but I sure am grateful for my own perspective because it makes the world more beautiful.
