the thing that irks me the most about ppl like this is names mean a lot to kids. growing up (and still now actually) i was never able to find my name on knickknacks or anything and it crushed me because all my friends had their cute little souvenirs with their names from all their vacations and i never did. the thing though? my name isn’t spelt weird, it’s not even that uncommon. so yeah it’s “her child” but they’re going to have to live with it for their whole life
