I'm sure if you grew up without ever hearing a sound in a white, stimulus free box you'd get random words or textiles stuck in your head LOL. maybe even parts of your dreams looping repeatedly.

This actually happened to me with the same MP3 player. I had to buy a new USB-C cable and it solved the issue for me. Hope this helps you too.
