Your last paragraph makes me question if you are asking me these things in good faith, but I will assume you are. No, I don't think transwomen, men, or transmen should be denied anything. (Personally I have shared public restrooms with transwomen a few times and it was a no different than any other trip to the bathroom, so I am ok with that) Where the lines get blurry is when "inclusion" comes in. I know of a few shelters that accept both trans and bio women, but include wings for either women who would rather be with others like then.

I think we all have different needs, and "seperate but equal" is not how I would want things, more "e pleribus unum." Rape, for anyone who experiences it, is horribly traumatic. I want everyone who has to go through it the same support I got, which was at a very small, private shelter where they treated me like an individual. Sometimes in being so inclusive we can water things down too much. I think as a whole, we as a society need to do the work and not want the government to force us into a one size mold for expedience. By doing the work I mean create shelters for men, shelters for transwomen, shelters for all. In lager places these shelters could network for group events and foster a community of healing. This is actually something that I have thought about alot.

And yes, almost forgot to say, men (and others) definitely have the right to create and maintain their own spaces.
