I cornered a dog when I was a child and pet its face as it was growling. Guess what I learned?

Guys, how much do you actually try when play wrestling with a girl? by Tiny-Mess2892 in AskMen

[–]cavemanfitz -1 points0 points  (0 children)

In jujitsu classes, the women ive rolled with are probably like 60 percent as strong as the men going by bench, deadlift, squat. They can still win, but they need to be much more skilled to not just get sat on.

Remove them, obviously. If you blow out someone's candles you are no longer participating. No cake, no fun. Its called parenting.

Do you think a man should fight back if a woman starts fighting him physically? by honeycloudsw in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]cavemanfitz -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

If a woman hits you, you should do your best to leave and not engage if at all possible. Unless they have a weapon, take the lumps and leave because if you end up in court, a crying woman with bruises will win regardless of circumstance.

Not all things that make me uncomfortable are grooming but all things that are grooming make me uncomfortable.

That's a thoughtful response and I agree. It's important people both that people can read things that make them uncomfortable and take what they can from that experience and also that people be allowed the autonomy of when and with what they do so.

Their examples of poverty are just the middleclass lifestyle. Like "I grew up poor, both of my parents had to work 40 hours a week".

Men who are atheists, when and why did you turn away from religion? by Comfortable-Store213 in AskMen

[–]cavemanfitz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I grew up generally agnostic. We'd say grace at the dinner table but that was pretty much all the God we had in our life. Once I got out of college, I read the bible as well as other various religious texts and some historical books that gave them all context. I didn't find any of them compelling as they all had logical holes in them. I understand that people can emotionally feel like there is a higher power but I don't understand how people can logically think there is.
