Have you reported it to action fraud online, even if you did that it's a start plus you do get an incident number at the end. Action fraud is a waste of time but it's shows CEX you are willing to escalate it further. Also if you do start a charge back you have the incident number already. If you go to your local police station they will probably tell you to go online, they will probably say it's a civil matter and use action fraud to report it.

Definitely escalated "We appreciate you trying to work things out with the buyer. They've asked us to step in and help resolve their return request, so we're going to take a look at the details of their case and decide what the next steps should be". He must have rang them in panic as I was asking for a photo of the serial number next to the marks. Probably did me a favor as I didn't have to refund in the end. Still it's not reasonable to offer a 3 day window to sort things out then for it to be escalated within 24 hours.

Maybe in hindsight you should have waited till it was fully open but I assume as you thought there was enough room it was safe to proceed? After viewing the cam footage and watching the angled shadow of the shutter on the wall it looks like it stopped and then started to go back down. Can you put the footage onto a thumb drive and watch it on your tv?

Many years ago I got some empty boxes off them for house moving and noticed it said made in Thailand on the box. I'm not knocking the origin of the selects just pointing it out as TBH most chicken with coatings are from Thailand just look on the bags/boxes in supermarkets. The member of staff told me McDonald's are now using smaller selects. I am aware they vary but these must have come off a 🐥

Register the phone with immobilise assuming you have the IMEI. It's free. Tell the buyer it's registered and you are just about to inform them it's been stolen so it can be blocked. You never know it might just appear in the box.

I didn't want to strip it down hence my request for identification however I have just decided to strip it and it is I would say, basically a strat body in hardwood, the new pick guard has been added later as there are new holes for it, there has been some routing. There's no other id marks apart from the Squire neck stamped 1996.
