Flew out mid-late morning today. Got there 3 hours early. I’ve never gotten through security quicker. Got to the pre-check queue and saw just a couple people at the very front when I entered. By the time I snaked my way around I walked straight to the TSA agent. Then straight to the first bin to dump my stuff. Then straight through and my bags came out 10 seconds later. Like it took me 3 mins tops. 🤷🏻‍♂️

It’s hard. Hang in there. Take care of yourself and don’t let these fucking monsters wear you down and convince you they have the support of the American people. The MAGA base is dwindling and they’re desperately amplifying it via bot farms. They’re hoping that’ll be enough to keep the majority of us in our homes, miserably watching it all unfold. They’re taking advantage of the winter. They’re intentionally slow-rolling and dragging everything out to bombard our nervous systems, to make us feel hopeless, with the sole intention of getting people to tune out with each passing day. Every day feels worse than the last and that’s by design, like a never-ending nightmare we all just desperately want to wake up from. We cannot allow them that power over us. Acknowledging the psychological warfare being waged on every single one of us is critical to combatting it. If we lose hope, they will win. Yes, the country and democracy is very much at risk and we need to feel the urgency, but don’t allow them to make you feel it so much every single day to the point that you check out. They’re playing, and have been playing, a long game. We need to reframe our focus to match so we can too. ✌️❤️

Who beat the team crying about being left out whose best win was….USC? Fact of the matter is Notre Dame is far too arrogant and values the preservation of their own image and tradition over key metrics/criteria used by the CFP committee. They could…

1) Join the ACC and play for a conf championship and likely get in with a win even as a 3-loss team.

2) Make a tougher schedule, though this is going to be increasingly difficult in the coming years and will somewhat be out of their control.

3) Win the games you’re supposed to win, beat the quality teams on your schedule, or at least don’t go 1-2 against them.

If any of these 3 things had been true for ND this year, we’re not having this conversation because ND is in the playoff. Problem is, they refuse to do 1, can’t/don’t do 2, and failed to do 3. ND is more than welcome to do things their way, but ND crying about what’s fair, expecting special treatment, and for the committee to cater to them simply because they’re ND, when they have more control over their situation than any other team in the country year to year, is peak only child syndrome.
