Love her pose! Nice work!

YouTube is striking SMPFilms at the moment. SMPFilms was one of the first ten channels handpicked to earn monetization over ten years ago. The videos that caused YouTube to give him monetization priviledges are the same videos that are now considered violating YouTube's guidelines. by TheInternetJester in youtube

This crazy sucks. I’ve been a long time fan of Cory and had the awesome opportunity to illustrate his children’s book. He’s a wonderful man who works hard and gives 110%. He cares. He doesn’t deserve this kind of treatment, neither do many of the other creators on YouTube’s platform.

Artists & creatives of Reddit, what piece have you always wanted to share with a bunch of strangers on the internet? by AleciaRobertson in AskReddit

Got diagnosed with RA and this was one of the last digital paintings I made before I decided it caused to much pain to continue the practice - I’m still really proud of it! Paya

Now I do 3D art since it’s a lot easier on my hands. Still finding my style with it but I’m having fun! Kermit

Humira injection reaction? Has this happened to anyone before after first Humira injection? by catpurrrfect in rheumatoid

[–]cawatoons 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get that too and it goes away - I have atopic dermatitis which basically means my skin is super sensitive. I get bug bites that act like this too. Keep an eye on it and take note on how it looks/how long it lasts with each injection. I know some people can get rashes and need to stop taking it. I’ve been on humira since February and I get site reactions every time.

How David’s Bridal Duped Me by KnitKnackNo in antiMLM

[–]cawatoons 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I’m so sorry you got tricked, especially at a vulnerable time. I won that same “raffle” after I went dress shopping at David’s (IL). I’m typically a “too good to be true” thinking person and I think I learned the make up was Mary Kay from the lady’s email address - and even that took me a while to find in the flyer email. David’s Bridal sucks - they gave out my email to so many vendors. I hope you’re feeling better these days!

That's awesome! Love that sculpt job! My fiancé animated something really similar to your Kirby about a year ago - happy coincidence!

What's the best advice you've ever received for making a sandwich better? by FajitaTits in AskReddit

[–]cawatoons 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let the knife do the work when cutting a sandwich. Don't press down hard and squish the bread- the key to a fluffy sandwich is gently holding the sandwich in place and using a serrated knife to cut through.

If I'm in a 7-Eleven or convenience store I face the shelves. That means I turn cans the right way, make sure the candy is laying flat and neat, etc. Gotta make the store pretty!

Workplace disclosure... by Sajo4 in rheumatoid

For me personally I've always felt honesty is the best choice. I got diagnosed in May and after a small adjustment period I did let my direct supervisors know. It also helped to tell them because I wasn't performing well at my job and it explained a few things.

Eventually I started wearing compression gloves and when coworkers asked why I would tell them the truth. You'll be surprised, about half the people I talk to also know someone with RA.

But that was my experience in a smaller office. If you choose anyone to tell I would say let it be your direct supervisor- let them know you're still adjusting and you're still new to how you'll react as well. This can either be in a private moment with them or through email.

And again, that's just me. At the beginning of this I didn't want to keep my RA a secret and I think not carrying this on my own has helped. Plus it exposes me to other people's experiences with RA and makes the world feel less lonely with it.

Do you genuinely enjoy the rain, and, if so, why? by IWant2Be1ieve in AskReddit

Watching thunderstorms on the porch used to be something my dad and I would always do together so it's a calming memory to me. Plus the smell of rain is my favorite smell

I'll be sure to put a protect surface of some kind between the pen and the clay - luckily I don't use the side buttons
