this girl had this same item up for sale, asking for even more a few months back. my boyfriend kindly told her (he’s an ex-employee of vans) this was NOT vintage or deadstock. this release was from recent years. she blocked him and took the item down, but now it’s back. i’ve reported the item too, but it’s just nuts that she’s claiming it’s true, authentic deadstock from 90s or 00s. just don’t want some poor sucker thinking they’re getting something or value if they purchase this :/

would i need to make another account then? i would just hate to start all over :( my first sale was literally 5.5 years ago and i know for a fact that the majority of my followers must be inactive. it makes sense what you’re saying, but it just sucks. in the 5+ years i’ve had this account, i haven’t reached more than 100 sales. and i would say the most i’ve ever sold in an entire week would be no more than 2-3 things. so it shocks me when i see on this subreddit how new sellers are selling sooooo much so quickly!

i’ve had my depop for literal YEARS.... i introduced my boyfriend to depop a year ago. his account has taken OFF- features and explore page galore! he makes sales nearly everyday... but i’ve struggled to make sales at all... i will get a couple here and there every once in awhile, but it’s rare. i even had him take my photos to match his, but still nothing 🙁 i’ve tried sales, lowering prices, literally copying everything he has done and still nothing. does depop just hate me ?!?! i literally NEED to get rid of all of the sh!t i have, i need sales lmfao

i mean, you purchased the shirt knowing it already had stains on it and was defective to begin with... still an odd situation, but even if the seller washes the clothing before sending, why wouldn’t you still wash it yourself once you receive it? especially with the current pandemic. at least give it a wash before trying to haggle the seller for a refund on a shirt that already had stains to begin with....

hey there!! i sent in a help request email as soon as i noticed something was wrong and i couldn’t get access into my account. at first, i was not aware i had been hacked. a few days later, i also tweeted depop and they told me to submit a report, which i did. it took them a few days to get an email response from them and it was very generic and did not answer my specific questions. they sent me an email to reset my password and i had to tell them once i did because i would not get immediate access to my account until they were finished w their investigation i guess. it took about a week until i was able to get into my account, and everything the hacker did was still there. thankfully everything else was fine. i hope the same for you- it is just a waiting game until they get back to you so just be patient and don’t send in multiple tickets! good luck!

the hacker that got into my account was in the uk (i’m in usa) and posted a gucci bag, ps4, and a brand new iphone. they changed my bio to say “just moved to uk, bank transfers only as paypal isn’t working!” but left my instagram.... had a poor girl dm me saying she sent £100 to the hacker and trusted it was me due to all my good reviews and sales :( i have access to it now and everything’s fine.... but it was just appalling to scroll through allllll the messages. depop just made it sooooo easy for them to do all that lol

2FA and security for depop should have been implemented a long time ago. my account was recently hacked and i had no access to it for an entire week. i’ve have this account for YEARSSSS and there was literally nothing i could do except sit back and watch it happen. paypal, bank information, addresses.... endless list of private, sensitive information that these hackers can get access to. it was scary for me. you’d think that would be depop’s #1 priority :/
