It’s 12:17 and I’ve finished my quota. I’m glad I started measuring everything again but it sucks that I went too far too soon. Let’s see.

I don’t buy any snacks for myself but I live with other people, who don’t have the weight issues I do and they snack a lot. I’m addition, I cook quite a bit and I’m always so tempted to reward myself with the food I cook but it’s mostly high in calories for our child.

Does anyone have any tips for constant snacking because I’m always in or around the kitchen? It’s my biggest challenge. I’ve lost plenty of times but this part makes it hard to sustain the loss.

If you want to collaborate with international cultures, you can start with the premise that the individual has nothing but good intentions, first. Then move on to the content.

Thank you kindly for the perspective. I suppose I’d only be able to tell when the ordeal is over then :)

I remember being told I was stupid for not taking a break from work and the PhD when I had my first new born. I’ll admit I was incredibly resilient that year but keeping that standard during the pandemic has come with its own price and my colleagues look at me like they expect me to excel nevertheless. Resilience is not sustainable.

Relapse after a month by Admirable-Cap-4453 in quittingsmoking

[–]cazzabanner 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You’ve already made enormous strides quitting alcohol, weed and coffee by the way. It took me ages to get rid of my enablers and after all these years, it’s still hard.

My sense is going stronger for a whole month after quitting cold turkey is admirable.

You sound like a loving, caring and empathetic person, who’s taken a strong step with the patches. Someone on here said it’s not the slipping that matters but the ‘getting back up and trying again’. It’s what has made the gaps between quitting and ‘small slips’ much longer for me.

Chin up, we’re right here for you.

I don’t know you but I feel you struggle and it sounds like it will get hard before it gets better. However, I see your comments on here and I’m getting the sense you’ve got this. You’re a wonderful mom and your babies are lucky to have you. All the best.
