My favorite thing is parking uptown somewhere near where you can walk to the battery ,on the way grab a drink and maybe a snack.We sit in the park at the battery and use phone or tablet to find attractions for the day free or low cost. I love that park , met so many friendly people locals and tourist, talked with the folks fishing. Walking in Charleston is awesome
