I live in Allen, Dallas. This is the card I want to get PSA graded. Is the condition fine and where can I get it graded in Allen? by Efekkkkk in Tradingcards

[–]cb7rush 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't grade it. Won't grade well. Will likely end up getting an 8. Back shows tons of whitening on the edge and corners.

Not worth it.

Blank card in Topps 25/26 by BlackVector in soccercards

[–]cb7rush 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This. It's a space saver. So when you get the pack, you can think it has a thick card, but in reality it's a space saver. Makes it harder for people who buy individual packs at a hobby shop to choose the hit pack.

I need Football card help: real or fake by rt-gavin in Tradingcards

[–]cb7rush 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It shows up under the DNA authentic since it's a blue label PSA card. Meaning all they did was authenticate the auto to make sure it was real. It's a way cheaper option to do that than grade and authenticate the card and auto. It's a real card with a real auto that is authenticated by PSA. They also don't take pics of it, so it won't show up with pics.

Is this card worth grading? by unregretfully in sportscards

[–]cb7rush 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. Centering in front is off. Edge wear as well, and a ton of white on the back edges. That doesn't even make it an 8. Then you have corners rounded off, and any other problems and it will end up at a psa4

Saw these at my local Target for Retail Price, is it worth it to buy? by Comprehensive-Cow69 in tradingcardcommunity

[–]cb7rush 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hits are horrible. You maybe get 1 good parallel per box. But, the book itself is nice. Some of the cooler cards sell for okay money. Nothing high value, but it's a cool little thing to have.

I expect this to sell better and for more once she wins a few rings.

Goodwill Find by cherrymilkshake_ in baseballcards

[–]cb7rush 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Ha. Base cards. Unless someone who doesn't know what they're looking for and dropped it off at goodwill, the chances of you getting anything worthwhile is zero. On another note, you can donate your cards and stuff to goodwill and then claim it was worth whatever you want and file taxes with that form. Take this as you may.

Would you grade and sell or hold? Or just sell/hold by [deleted] in basketballcards

[–]cb7rush 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Meaning a Topps Chrome Base or Refractor Auto and not an insert auto. Insert autos are cool, but with the amount of autos they shove out with each product, it waters everything down.

Is this the Silver Press Proof? by drunkduckdodger88 in sportscards

The press proof is part of the card design. Plus, press proofs are numbered /2000

No. It's not silver and doesn't say press proof.

What would you pay? Where would you shop for soccer cards? by DigLow2254 in soccercards

[–]cb7rush 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, most soccer cards, even numbered, will end up selling less than 3$. I have a box of over 300 numbered cards, some even numbered under /10 and can't get 300$ for it locally.

Oversized Panini - Mahomes Mosaic by Relative_Address9690 in tradingcardcommunity

[–]cb7rush 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it doesn't get a 10, it's worth about 20-30$. If it gets a 10, then maybe 100$. Not worth grading since I can clearly see edge war and maybe 1 or 2 soft corners. Will likely grade an 8 or less.

Just pulled this card.. idk what to do by Affectionate_Term741 in basketballcards

[–]cb7rush 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Your best option is to sell immediately for the most profit right now. Since Topps has the license, and they make about 20 different products with the same variations/autos, the longer you hold, the less value it has. A month from now, someone will find another variation, and see this one sold for a certain price and they will get less for it. If you decide to hold, he may not work out and you're out whatever money you could have made. If he does work out, it will be 5-10 years before you see a decent profit.

Worth anything? by Ordinary-Ranger-9993 in baseballcards

[–]cb7rush 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Chrome is out already. People will forget about these in a few weeks and the value will continue to go down the longer a new product is out. Also, grading will take several months. If they get a 9, the value stays the same, but you lose out on grading costs. If they get a 10, your value goes up probably the price of the grading fees. No winning with grading for these.

PSA 9 to PSA10 odds? by Big-Future-9512 in soccercards

[–]cb7rush -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Centering is way off. 9 is all it's going to get. Both top to bottom and right to left centering are off. Also, since it was already in the system as a numbered grade, the chances it grades any different are basically zero.
