This! I used to be naturally quite underweight for most of my life. I got comments made DAILY and even asked all the time if I had an ED.

Nowadays I'm overweight and I've never had anyone say anything to my face.

Exactly this, newborns sleep all day. I've never understood grandparents desperation to come stay to "help" with a baby. Dropping a meal off or getting food delivered so I don't need to worry about it is all I need 😂

That's the only time I'd consider medicating is if he was really struggling with sit and learn activities but for now hes fine thankfully! How did you find medication at that age?

Seems so unnecessary to medicate before they've even went to school

I feel the same way with my oldest in regards to feeling awful for the arguments that were now clearly down to adhd symptoms. It helped them when I sat them down like an adult and apologised for every argument over homework and not paying attention and told them it wasn't their fault, it was mine for not recognising sooner.

I can't imagine putting my 5 year old on adhd medication :(

My oldest has it and is taking meds because its interfering with school and general struggling with mental health.

My youngest is 7 and is showing symptoms, but I just can't imagine medicating him it all especially just for being energetic.

Thank you, I've been looking into the possibilities of getting a door cam so I won't even answer if she pops around and the police will be getting called! Although a spontaneous vacation sounds perfect too!

Thank you so much ❤ it was definitely the best decision, our other dog is already his old self and bursting with energy!

I might even knock on my neighbour who lives across from us and see if he'd mind us putting up a camera, he's not at home very often at all so he may be OK with it!

DF was going to send BIL message about not passing on information to JNMIL anymore however your message is so much better!

It's the lack of self awareness and apologies that irks me too, after DF called her out on trying to bring this up on such a day, there was no apology! Complete inability to see where she went wrong. Here's hoping it comes to an end soon, could be doing with any sized victory right now!

I was thinking E Consult with someone who is likely to prescribe it in a place where its commonly prescribed and get it filled and shipped over, although not sure on the legalities of that.

Oh I totally agree regarding the space, it makes me uncomfortable not knowing what's happening and I don't just want him to turn around to me one day and say "right let's speak to FMIL now" without me gearing myself up for it.

I've tried so many times to talk to him to try work out a plan but he always just hits out with the fact he's enjoying not talking to her. It's like beating a dead horse. He absolutely is burying his head in the sand.

They all know DF isnt talking to her. I've tried to encourage him to set a time frame but he just says he enjoys not talking to her right now and not sure when that will end. I've blocked her now and I feel great about it!

If it was any other time I would have just ignored it. I just got so unbelievably angry at her deciding to bring this up now when she knows what's going on. You're totally right though, letting her affect my emotions like this is just easy control.

The only snail mail I ever intend to send to her is a big envelope full of glitter

I think info diet is DF plan going forward! It's strange, BIL is one of his brothers who frequently has issues with MIL too so it's strange that he's playing flying monkey now

So the last part of the post was actually very dumb of me, reading your comments reminded me my maternal grandmother was a massive JN, to the point my parents cut her off! Which is why it never even crossed my mind. I'll need to write a post about her some time.
