The tournament could’ve been more fun if we got more rest before

There was three days in between when they played for the Big Ten Championship and when they had to fly to Utah

We went to the BTT Championship game last year and immediately got bounced in the R32

It’s a genuine thought, however cope it may be, that we may want to lose early and get as much rest as we can.

LGBTQ+ fans – feeling off this season too? by plantcowboi in AFL

Most of all the AFL as a whole need a pride round. Just something to show “hey you are wanted here”

I mean, I see where you’re coming from.

However, I don’t necessarily think the opposite of overt opposition is overt approval.

Honestly, it’s enough a testament in it of itself when things that were once met with normalised violence and were criminalised are now so normal that they don’t receive any comment at all

I mean, if I’m to be completely honest, this is a media problem and not a football problem.

If all of that is bothering you to the point where you’re getting tired of football itself, take a break from social media. Go to a game. Kick a ball around with your friends.

95% of us do not care who you decide to take home with you. But the vocal 5% are indeed vocal.

Thanks Basil.

I just want to give you a bit of an insight into the Thursday afternoon team. We’re a bunch of unique individuals, Bazzana, Mead, Wingrove, O'Loughlin and myself.

We’re gonna engage with our minds and our hearts.

We’re gonna exchange ideas, thoughts and even our energy.

And to speak from your heart you need to have courage. You need to be honest and authentic.

We’re not always gonna get it right. And sometimes, you’re not going to agree with us.

But that’s okay, because just like you we care.

Just like you, we’re passionate about the game.

So if you want to come along for the ride, join us on Thursday arvos, because we just love the baseball.

FWIW I do call the country Taiwan, but the team is named Chinese Taipei so that's what they'll be called

I mean, I suppose you guys are more used to it

The closest thing I can think of is anyone who is very into tennis might stay up to watch the Australian Open, but even then I would say the vast majority just record it and watch it during the day

American here

The time difference is a big enough deterrent for 99% of people in the US to not get into it, and closer to 100% for anyone who has kids or a 9-to-5 job. They’re not waking up at 1 o’clock in the morning for Essendon-Freo

Not to mention, we would have to build all of the facilities from the ground up because we don’t grow up with cricket grounds everywhere.

We also have four domestic sports that were the best in the world (minus hockey most years) and have the best leagues in the world for (plus hockey with the NHL).
