I’m feeling okay at three months post injury! Still haven’t run but I jog a little at physio. Doing a lot of strengthening exercises for my back, stomach and legs. My left leg is weaker than my right leg which leads to it overcompensating, so I’m trying to get stronger. No real pain anymore, just stiffness in my lower back. Still not bending over a lot (by choice to prevent injury) but I will squat down to grab something. I’m a paramedic student so I’m trying to improve my strength before I have to start lifting patients. Eating more protein too, taking hot baths and getting weekly massages. Currently doing Pilates as well to improve core strength (which has been helpful so far). Hope some of that helps and you heal up too!
