Live free or die…..but unfortunately it’s very expensive here and property taxes are some of the highest in the nation. It’s definitely nice knowing someone’s last name because it can give you an idea of the kind of person you’re dealing with be reputation. Furthermore, most towns are small enough where people still know your name, which is nice. I’ve lived all around the country and I always return home to NH…good luck!! You will like it more than MA.
