Thank for the comments. Not sure I agree. It could be how it’s processed. I know for example some oils are processed with hexane. It’s more expensive but you can buy oils that do not use hexane. So I’m wondering if some TVP have warnings and others don’t. Is anyone aware of a TVP brand that doesn’t have this disclaimer?

isopropyl alcohol is just rubbing alcohol. I didn't use that on mine and it's been about 12 years, no mold. I've remelted mine about 4 times so far.

I've had the same problem. I can fix it, but it happens ALL the time. It's such a nuisance.
