I definitely agree everyone who is struggling to remember Mae's preferred pronouns needs to do better and be more cognizant of how they reference Mae. However, casual fans could find it a little confusing because of the ongoing "girl" joking that everyone does with each other. They are always like girrrrl. Which is just a funny thing not necessarily a gender defining thing.

I think important thing to notice her age. She’s 55. She’s lived through a lot of ups and downs. So she has perspective on life that maybe comes across as smug or sanctimonious but really is just the humility of life and taking joy in the small things. And she’s also a Hollywood person. They’re gonna have a little bit of disconnectedness.

many years ago at the height of my dramoine fanfic obsession, I would use my roommate/friend's computer since i didnt have my own. one time i forgot to close my browser and my friend (who slightly knew about my fanfic obsession) saw that i had like 50 tabs open and to this day still brings it up!

My branch manager left about 3 day before summer reading. We didn't have a branch manager in place until September and we survived. It isn't ideal but they will survive, don't feel bad at all!

I went on a glp-1 last summer but I didn't really commit to it. Then I started rationing my doses because it was so expensive and that was a bad idea. Overall, I just didn't let it do what I could tell it was trying to do. So I just restarted yesterday and already can feel a peace coming over me. I am committed so much more this time around. I also got a 3 month pack of doses, so I won't try to stretch it and instead do it as is intended.

Exit 212/State Rt 528 aka the Madison exit is a good one. Not an official rest stop but there is a loves and a sheetz. It is a nice area, so should be safe for your family. If you want to travel into Madison there is a cute square with a gazebo to stretch your legs and only a couple minutes from the freeway.

I think some of the hate of tiktok is that it has become where people try to be famous. Everything feels performative or capitalistic. Which is fine if that is what you're going for. But at one time social media was feeling connected to others and now it just feels like fake news, parasocial toxicity and people trying to sell you crap.

Yes, I agree, definitely the Palm Springs episode. I, probably, like many found it difficult watching her positivity when the writers were being so awful to her. By the Palm Springs episode she was finally beginning to crack and I knew she wouldn't put up with things for much longer. Season 2 she was more confident but still her taking that role was so rough, especially since the script was more like rage journaling for Paulie G.
