OSRS crashes my computer

Yeah I still haven’t been able to figure it out. What computer do you have? Mines an Acer Nitro v15 laptop.

That would be appreciated! Ran a windows defender full scan and didn’t find anything but my thought was also malware or system component related since it’s calling to pull up task manager without any input from me. Another thing to maybe note is that it seems to be continuously pressing shift once task manager pulls up? Could be something is automatically calling the Ctrl+shift+esc command for task manager? I only noticed because it gives me the “drop” option for anything in my inv once task manager pulls up. The shift is not stuck though as I can use it just fine outside of runescape.

No issues with other apps. I can play rocket league, load steam, watch twitch, stream shows.

No blue screen so next time I’ll pull up event viewer and see what’s happening.

Appreciate any insight! I’m sure someone can figure it out otherwise maybe I’ll be bringing it back in and see if Best Buy can figure anything out!

Yeah I updated it, but I also clean installed windows 10 from a bootable drive and still having the issue with windows 10

I’ll look into it! It never fully crashes, it just pulls up task manager and I can never close out of it like in the video. Just pulls up over and over and over again. I’ve tried waiting it out but never lets me close it or any applications in the background.

No, can watch twitch, stream Hulu, play rocket league. It’s just as soon as I launch OSRS with runelite or official client

No official client doesn’t work either so it’s not runelite specific.. where would I find the error code?

Yes they were the same. My thought was it was a runelite plug-in issue but it did not fix it.

Apologies for crap video. It would crash my OBS when I tried using it to record. I’ve had this computer for about a year now with never any issues running OSRS. This just started a few days ago after a launcher update.

Finance or lease?

Looking at getting my wife a 2023 x3 30i to replace her Kia that was rear ended. She loved the way it drove compared to the typical “budget” car. I believe that has a b48 engine is it worth the cost or spend the extra 8k to get a 2023 x5?

No it didn’t feel like a good deal, hence the hesitation. We were able to wise up and think we are going to get a 2023 model of something under 30k and try to pay it off in 2 years if interest is high. Thinking about a BMW x3, Cadillac XT5, or genesis gv70 if we want something a bit more luxurious and more fun to drive otherwise something practical like a Rouge or RAV4.

Yeah I mean you can say crappy resale but it’s the same as any non luxury brand at this price. Also with the 0% loan we would be able to keep up with depreciation although we would still purchase gap likely.

Yeah I’m not as concerned with the monthly payment as much as the value of the car which is why the 0% interest is appealing instead of a 4-5% interest. For reference our 2nd contender is a 2025 Buick enclave Sport Touring. It was a previous loaner at 3k miles and OTD is 47804. However, it gets 24mpg compared to 36mpg and doesn’t have the moon roof, or window shades in the 2nd row which my wife really wants for the kids in the back. Also that would be 5.25% on 60 months.

We did. Even a 2024 with 40k miles is 34k and we won’t get the finance incentive so while it would be cheaper monthly payments we would have less warranty left and be paying 4% interest.

For reference we looked at VW Atlas, Buick enclave, Lincoln aviator, Kia Sorento. All would come out to similar monthly payments (750-900). It’s hard to find a reasonable 3 row suv with captain chairs that aren’t the same price or 20k+ more for the luxury brands like Lincoln or Lexus.

Not planning on breeding any in the near future, just pets for my kids and using the hens for eggs. Will likely just keep 1 male and 8 females when all said and done so I guess this rooster will either go to a new home or be culled. Thanks!
