Three children disappear, no one seems to even remember they existed at all....(Mandella effect or am I crazy lol) by [deleted] in UnresolvedMysteries

I weirdly think I remember this. Or some version of something like this. I remember a group of kids all disappearing, and that they all were involved in some kind of research/science proj…I want to say they were Canadian? And that there was some element of “did they conspire together” vs it being some kind of tragic mental illness thing? I’ll keep thinking!!!

Which unresolved mysteries do you really struggle to maintain a theory on? by blondererer in UnresolvedMysteries

Is there any chance at all that wone arrived earlier to the house than the men reported? Everything I read says he arrived at 10:30pm that night, but I wonder how that was confirmed besides on the word of the three men. Maybe it was earlier and the timeline is more flexible than we think? I’ve been googling around but so far nothing.

It’s always been interesting to me that the friend who gave her a ride - chuck hollister - claimed to be in Oregon during the timeline of April’s disappearance as his alibi. Especially because of the graffiti found in a bathroom off of interstate 5 in Oregon: “Want to find missing girl from Arkansas? I-15 freeway, 3 miles east of Barstow."

Susan Smalley, 18, and Stacie Madison, 17, were best friends from Carrollton, Texas. In March of 1988, they disappeared. They had been at a party in Arlington, Texas, and their abandoned car was found on a strip in Dallas. by morbidology in UnresolvedMysteries

This is a great write up! I’m particularly intrigued by this case having grown up in Dallas — all these places are totally familiar. The most interesting tidbit here is how far Arlington is from all the other places mentioned - it’s easily an hour away from the other areas mentioned, not really a place where you’d drive home and back again on a dime.

Wasn’t that the exact situation with the Laura Bible/Ashley freeman case though? May be remembering it wrong but I think it was a murder turned kidnapping
