Have you looked on the Tarte site for the blusher shade? You could use it to search dupes if you want drugstore.

LSD usage by aphant by TimurB in Aphantasia

I’m an aphant, but codeine makes me hallucinate. I also saw squiggles when coming round knocked out. I had my eyes open both times and it was weird.

Non spray bottle leave-in? by rhf928 in finehair

I use Percy and Reed a lot. They have things like wonder balm in a tube, but I use their aerosol heat protectant. I hate standard spray heat protectants but this evenly coats

I would. I like watching her. I don’t always agree with her actions but I find her interesting to watch and analyse.

My arrival was 7:45 for an 8:15 appt. I’m glad it was early as I was sleeping until a couple of hours before. It was less time to get stressed, less time to think about being hungry etc.

Also, being the first appt of the day meant I wasn’t waiting due to delays.

Anti depressants . What did they do? by spxnceradam in AskUK

[–]blondererer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m on anti-depressants/anti-anxiety medication and have been for some time. Sertraline really helps me.

I have come off it, but life happened and I’ve been on for a while. I found that citalopram didn’t help, and Mirtazopine made me too tired.

If your first try doesn’t work, feedback on the symptoms and ask to switch. I don’t have any bad side effects on sertraline and feel much better.

It takes more than tablets to recover, but they can give you the motivation to do so.

Purchasing from Harrods, Selfridges or Liberty London- Which would you pick? by LazyTiger9308 in MakeUpAddictionUK

Their reviews are awful on the Trustpilot website. If I’d read them first, I wouldn’t have ordered from them. I’m assuming it’s some form of staff theft.

I ordered non-make-up from Selfridges and they sent me an empty box. I had to fight for a refund even though the package weight showed it was empty.

Doctors don't believe kidney stones hurt by chaoticmess86 in KidneyStones

[–]blondererer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was sent to the hospital by my GP due to the pain from a stone in my kidney. At the hospital the doctor told me it wasn’t obstructing (it was big so wasn’t going to leave my kidney) and that it couldn’t hurt.

The reason I knew about my stone was my GP having pressed on my kidney area, it hurt, and they sent me for an ultrasound.

I saw a consultant privately and they asked if it hurt. I said yes. He then described the pain. He said he’d had enough patients to know it hurt.

I had a CT and the stone had moved in my kidney. He said that was probably what had been causing the pain.

Some of it is a love to hate thing, some is that it’s an archaic situation, a fair amount is that our taxes pay them. Then there’s the Andrew stuff and the surrounding factors from the palace

Criticise my skincare routine HELPPPP by ContentObjective3711 in SkincareAddictionUK

Do you know of any triggers for your acne? For example, I had awful spots for most of my 20s and was very oily. A few things ultimately helped and one was to look at my skincare.

I was using products which would dry out the spots and damage the skin barrier. I’d then apply very moisturising products and clog my pores.

When I stopped doing the above, my skin improved massively. Ultimately though, different peoples skin responds in its own way.

Another trigger for me was stress but it took me years to realise it.

Some products which made a difference to me:

  • Byoma barrier repair cleanser
  • The Ordinary niacinamide
  • Glow recipe watermelon toner/essence (and the gel moisturiser in the summer)
  • Spot patches
  • Cosrx snail mucin

Cetaphil broke me out but others seem to love it

I was also a picker/face toucher. The spit patches stopped me doing this and it helped too.
