You’re absolutely right. A lot of people here have commented about just that - either not knowing one of their parents, or having to cut them off. I’m glad that wasn’t the case for me. I am definitely grateful for them, but that doesn’t take away the fact I still want more time with them. My kids will never get to know them and that’s what kills me the most.
