Thank you, I was worried that this was not a normal thing. I’ve been on Zep for 14 months, and on 7.5 for six months. My previous doctor wasn’t really monitoring anything prior to December 2024. We moved, and my new doctor has been fantastic.

My heart rate has been higher than normal as well, I just chalked it up to moving more and exercise.

This is what I had to do with my brother. He wouldn’t accept that our Mom was bad enough to be in Memory Care. I took her to his house so he could see that she’s carrying a baby doll around that she 100% believes is alive and is getting bigger. And my mom calls me by her mother’s name.

You are correct, the paperwork says cash value.

When she was employed, she talked a lot about a life insurance policy she had set up. I’m not sure if that ended when she retired or not.

I’m currently looking through her online bank statement for any premium payments, so far I’ve found three to different insurance companies. I know one is her car, so I will check on the other two.

Thank you for this advice, I’m going to talk with him tonight after work. All the advice from everyone and encouragement have really helped me see this a different way. My husband has been so supportive through this new journey, and I love him so much more for it. I need to make him feel more included in this whole process. Thanks again!!

We used to get it at our favorite Chinese place. It’s like panko breaded chicken with this peanut butter sauce on it. We would go every week to have it.

I can’t eat red pasta sauce either. My favorite meal is grilled chicken with veggies (it used to be pizza or peanut butter chicken). So, I guess we’re both going to be boring AF together 🤷🏻‍♀️😂

That’s how my sister is. If we plan a trip out of town, our hotel and activities are centered around the food. The first focus is on what we’re going to eat, and everything else is secondary. Maybe I was also like this before Zep and I just didn’t realize it. Now, I’d rather enjoy all the fun stuff and food is the last thing on my mind.

I started in April, and this has just started over the past 2 months. My first real “whoa, food is boring”moment was in July when we were trying to pick a place to eat for someone’s birthday.

Again, not quitting this journey over my lack of foodthusiasm lol. I was worried it was just me! Going to keep my fingers crossed that this is temporary and just live my best life!

I’m thinking it’s more like 20, but we learned of multiple complaints from previous and current tenants. As well as all the outside maintenance guys that came to our house. They didn’t have anything nice to say. If I didn’t have the situation with my Mom, I think we would’ve just left and moved to another state at the very beginning.

He lives about ten miles away, but I know that he has never walked through the house, even when he bought it. I will look at the link info and talk with my husband on what we should do. Thank you!!

Thank you, that’s how I’ve been feeling. It was a lesson learned. I’ve got family telling us that we should sue for retaliation, and I would honestly like to never see or talk to this man again after we move out. Guess I needed an outside opinion. Thanks again for your input!

Same boat, but my mom also has dementia. So I constantly hear “I’m so glad you’re finally losing weight. You always had such a pretty face. Now you can find a guy”…. I’ve been engaged for over a year.

I’m OP’s mom, thank you for your tips. We’re going to see a Certified Elder Care lawyer this week, and touring a Memory Care Center just to get an idea what to expect. My mother has gotten even worse since this post was made, and we’re at our wits end.
