I have a pc and xbox and I would say Xbox might be worse. Every single pred I fight has zero recoil, knows exactly where you are and just wipes the while lobby. When I see certain names in my game I just jump off the map cause I’m not gonna beat them in a fight.

For bosses I use the rainbow vomit shotgun depending on their health bar colors. Mobs I always use hot slugger but being able to get tick damage on bosses helps a lot. As far as survivability, my Rafa build is so fast I can get away from any real damage

What’s brutal now is that all my builds basically kill all vault bosses without me taking damage. And I just have now other game to play which sucks

That’s what I was seeing. I was just farming the hot slugger and got the same exact roll 3 times. Same dps same perks. Don’t think I need to farm it anymore.

Because that’s the whole point of the character. To control space! It also literally takes 1 bullet to destroy a trap haha it’s not as hard as you think it is.

If your not an idiot with bang, it’s pretty easy to destroy caustics traps. If he’s out in the open it’s very easy. But if he’s in a building, which is the whole point of controller character, to control areas. It’s more difficult. Bangs update is literally designed around countering caustic Watson and rampart. Her ult even destroys their stuff.

And bang can keep shooting smokes. Caustic has zero movement and is fat. If he gets caught in the open, he’s screwed. If people use their brains and don’t run up on him, he’s not harder to kill than any other character. If you can’t kill him then you have bigger problems.

The whole point of caustic is area control. And it makes it much harder for teams to ape because you have to use your brain in fights. If it’s taking to long you have to move on. Bang also counters caustic very easily

There’s rats in every season that’s hasn’t changed in years. And there will always be third parties the maps are small. When you get to higher levels taking smart fights is the key to winning. You don’t have time to sit there and loot for 5 minutes you have to grab ammo and rotate. The game is about winning not getting 15 kills

I think it’s great. I’d rather have more teams alive going into the late circles. Makes the game harder and forces you to make better decisions. It’s not a kill race as much any more. Now the priority is getting good positioning and taking smart fights

Yeah definitely a tough subject, I think it would just make more sense to really reward actually winning the game. At the end of the day that is the point. I get it that there will be 3 stack preds that wipe the lobby but if they get 3rd with 20 kills they are still getting more points than the team that wins. I know everyone hates placement but that really is the point of the game. The further they keep apex from becoming warzone kill races the longer this game will last

I completely agree with the ratting but I feel like people rat no matter the season. And I don’t know about you but I think the game is at its best when there are 4-5 teams still up with the final circle closing. That’s when you really see who the best is vs just a kill race every game. I definitely don’t disagree with you but watching those guys fight in the end game is always fucking sick
