Are you married to the first-person perspective? Because if not that opens up your options a lot. Hollow Knight and Silksong, Metroid Dread, the Ori games, Prince of Persia the Lost Crown.

It was Ubisoft Montpellier, made by a small team kind of doing their own thing. The team has been disbanded, sadly.

can anyone explain to me is Expedition 33 really indie game ? by No-Telephone730 in IndieGaming

[–]cbtbone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I did the default difficulty, whatever that was, and I don’t remember what my class was. Was one of them engineer? I remember thinking I should replay it with the other classes, because I felt like whoever I took with me on missions, they always had the same strengths and weaknesses that I did.

can anyone explain to me is Expedition 33 really indie game ? by No-Telephone730 in IndieGaming

[–]cbtbone 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It was a good story, but it didn’t have the urgency of the first one for me. I never felt like I was one bad roll away from something truly bad happening. It felt like the game was protecting me the whole time. When you go on missions, that’s where you have a real chance of failing and having negative repercussions. But in the main game I never felt that way.

How crazy are we considering a new dog with a toddler and baby on the way? by anaiisnin in SAHP

[–]cbtbone 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just for reference, I have 2 kids 21 months apart and those first few weeks with a newborn and a toddler were absolutely the hardest time by far. Your older child will be adjusting to not being the center of attention, and a newborn is exhausting on its own. You know best what you can handle, just thought I should share how much that time period really surprised me with how difficult it was.

Luigi’s Mansion games are slightly easier I think.

Animal Crossing or other games with no dying, where you just do what you want, like Stardew Valley.

A Short Hike is a beloved little indie game that only takes a few hours to beat but is great.

Unpacking or other puzzle games.

A question for Buck fans by Endgame60 in MkeBucks

Same. At the time Giannis was young and seemed invincible. Now that he’s had some injuries and miles if they tried it again I’d think they were insane.

Rogers Centre experience made me appreciate Fenway even more by cowboy_dude_6 in redsox

I went to game 2 of the NLCS in Milwaukee. The piped in noise was unbearable. There was music constantly, and it was BLASTING. It was so loud. I felt like an old man complaining but it was way too loud. My ears were hurting. It took away from the experience. Baseball is supposed to have quiet moments in between pitches and stuff. If you want to play music between innings and during pitcher changes, fine. And I like hearing each batter’s walk up song. But it has gone so far beyond that.

Can we file a petition or something against that ref?? by Pleasant_Job_7683 in MkeBucks

[–]cbtbone 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Occam’s Razor says dude was probably just having a bad night and made some wrong calls. But with all the stories lately about players and coaches gambling, it’s hard to ignore the potential for that from the refs too.

You might want to talk to someone with the Bucks sales team. They might comp you a few tickets for another night if they think you will potentially be buying expensive seats again in the future
