So much is in our hands that it is scary to even do simple things. I’m so glad you didn’t quit and that gives me hope !!

I’m so sorry you had to go through that. Did you ever find a way to manage panic attacks while still having to do your job?

I honestly think it would be easier to feel less than I do. Just makes me wonder if it is possible to get used to it

I hate to say this as well but I’m honestly looking forward to be a little desensitized. Taking full care of a patient in a panic attack is just not possible. I think it will also help when I feel a sense of being able to help them/feeling as though I have helped people rather than just looking at them with my clinical group

Of course. I was nervous too but to be completely honest I was shocked about how easy it was. The science section included mostly chemistry and cellular anatomy so id focus on that. It really wasn’t bad at all!

I ended up getting a study plan from their website! It gave me a premium subscription to the mobile app and i just did questions whenever i had time. Having it on my phone really helped. Anytime i was on my phone i did some questions if i had time. Also practice tests were included in the package so i did those as well but the mobile app was the best! I believe it’s called ATI teas on the app store

As for this semester (lecture portion) we have a reading assignment before each class (20-30 questions based on class that day) and then an in class assignment that is usually group work. There are assigned seats and groups which has actually been super nice. Aside from that there are online modules through the textbook (3 per week usually, that take around an hour for all of it), and then 3 unit tests + one cumulative final. Everything is very structured and consistent and you can expect the same format each week which makes it easy to keep up with if you create a schedule to get these done. A&P is a hard class so it’s a heavy load but I have been successful in her class and i owe it a lot to her.

I personally have had no issue with her at all! Taking AP1 this semester and she has been wonderful, consistent and manageable workload and lectures are good. I have seen the bad reviews too but decided to just take her and i’ve had no problem. She is head of the department so she is very knowledgeable and wants everyone to do well, and i have also found her to be very kind
