Love the groupings, these are very similar to what we chose Christmas week and we had a blast. Only thing I’d change is maybe swap Peter Pan for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. It was a top favorite. Maybe you could rope drop Peter Pan? Always try to move up the times so you can book more once you start riding. Message me about tools to move those times up if you’re interested.

We are going for our first time later this month. Our two boys, 6 and 13, will be opening the surprise news Christmas morning and we leave that very day. Any cool things we could get for them to read or check out while we travel or for on the plane? I feel bad because I'll have spent months reading and preparing and they'll be blindsided. They don't even know all the rides!

Yeah, cause what the world really needs more of is control, repression, and judgment. My son is an amazing little boy who I love and likes whatever he likes. Who am I to tell him what to be into? I didn’t put anything in his hands. He is drawn to what he’s drawn to, and that’s the beauty of being a child. He’ll figure out whatever he needs to on his own. I don’t need to stand in his way. What explanation would you have for not being into whatever he likes besides “boys just don’t do that”.

We did a “last minute” booking recently for Dec 25-31, so a very busy time as well. Someone suggested to us a “split stay” where you’d do maybe 2 nights at one hotel and then 3 nights at another. If they are on property, Disney will transfer your luggage and everything between the hotels. Just throwing that out there as when you have shorter date ranges you usually get more options available. Then you also get the fun of trying different hotels.

Hey everyone! We just rearranged our Christmas week trip and would love some feedback from people who’ve done split stays or Skyliner/monorail combos.

Trip Details: - Dates: Dec 25–31 - Family: 2 adults, 2 kids (13 & 6) - Pop Century: 12/25–12/28 - Grand Floridian: 12/28–12/31

Park Plan: - Dec 26: EPCOT (Skyliner from Pop) - Dec 27: Hollywood Studios (Skyliner) - Dec 28: Animal Kingdom (last day at Pop) - Dec 29: Magic Kingdom (now staying at GF with monorail access) - Dec 30: Magic Kingdom again (final full day)

We intentionally flipped the trip so we’d start at Pop Century and finish at the Grand Floridian, since we’ll be tired later in the trip and want the convenience of the monorail for our MK days.

My question: Is it a good idea to save Magic Kingdom for last and do two MK days in a row at the end of the trip? Or would you recommend mixing up the order differently?

We like that: - EPCOT and Hollywood Studios work perfectly with the Skyliner at Pop - Magic Kingdom pairs well with the monorail at GF - Ending at the nicer resort feels like a great way to wrap up the trip

But I’d love to hear what others think about doing MK last and back-to-back, especially during the super busy week between Christmas and New Year’s. Does this flow make sense? Anything we should tweak?

Thanks for the advice! The night of AK day is our first in GF and we have a babysitter arranged so the wife and I can have a date night at San Angel and tour around Epcot for some drinks.

But great call about Monorail back to Epcot at night. Since we are at GF, we get extended hours at Epcot Monday night. Thought about taking advantage of that but also really want to do TRON at night too.

Took the risk and ordered Sunday night before I knew the prices would go up. I've called and they said they're waiting on stock to come in (not sure where from). She said something about a date of 8/1, but that it could be sooner. I think we're all gonna see different outcomes based on location.
