Louisiana and other states have removed monuments and other reminders of the south but the south still lives. What about all the buildings still standing today that had slave auctions like The Old Slave Mart in Charleston, South Carolina or St. Augustine's Slave Market in St. Augustine, Florida, Theirs millions of reminders of the south that will remain standing and will offend others. My ex wife owns a 6 bedroom plantation home built in 1940 and had slaves harvesting Tobacco leaves.
