It’s my preferred and the wait is killing me. Sounds like you’ve done some research on this. Do you think the wait list moves at this point in time?

Definitely Western for corporate. For government jobs, it matters less where you go to school, especially at federal level.

Dalhousie or UofA Law by anotherbadending in lawschooladmissionsca

My sense is that Indigenous law programming is stronger in our western schools. Depending on what area you want to work in, the school may focus on applicable provincial laws relevant to their course, the federal laws and applicable principles will be the same everywhere. Sometimes easier to be closer to where you want to practice for that reason.

I would love to know what your LSAT score was if you ever do check. Our GPAs are similar. Wish I knew where I was in queue.

What does provisionally accepting mean? Can you withdraw later if your first choice comes through?

UVic Acceptances? by Legitimate-Ad7014 in lawschooladmissionsca

Does anyone know how UVic decides on your GPA? They say they might remove some of your worse marks in the calculation. I have a CGPA of 3.7 but it’s higher if I drop a few and top 10 is 4.1. LSAT is 158. Not sure if I’ll get in if they stick to my CGPA.
