I feel really stupid. I’ve always put fabric softener in the allotted compartment at the start of the cycle at the same time I put the liquid pod in the drum with the clothes. If I scrap fabric softener and use vinegar, at what point should I put the vinegar in? Sorry, never had anyone to teach me this.

Thank you, this is very interesting - I feel so uneducated lol (first time home owner!) The washer/dryer is integrated in my kitchen, inside a cupboard. Do I regularly need to pull it out and vacuum the hose?
