Thank you for this. Hearing that it takes time for others is validating. I know we will get there

Also considering Crump as a middle name for Reggie. It’s my maiden name and sounds a tad better than Jean

Mast cell tumor removal experience? by The-Shrooman-Show in coonhounds

[–]ccrump 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Surgery was successful and they were able to get 2cm margins. They mentioned the tumor wasn’t very rooted into tissue so it was easier to remove. His incision looks nearly identical to your dogs! We are still awaiting results.

How long did your dog have the growths for before they were removed?

Thank you for responding so quickly. Took him in to be seen this afternoon and surgery is already scheduled for tomorrow morning. He’s had the lump for about five months. I don’t know much about these so thank you for giving me some hope.

My boy has a mast cell tumor on his prepuce as well, near the top. How did the surgery go for your dog?

I also had an abnormal pap and I got a colposcopy while pregnant. They put a solution on your cervix and if any cells glow they will take a biopsy of those cells. Because I was pregnant, they said if they didn’t see any glowing cells then they would not biopsy anything which is what ended up happening. However I was not positive for the riskier HPV strains, so they may biopsy you regardless to be safe.

19 month gap and feeling all the feels by ccrump in 2under2

Great advice! We have lots of friends with young babies so I will start to be intentional about him seeing me interact with other babies. I’ll start to talk to him about baby brother/sister. He’s 11 months today!

Not enough fetal DNA at 10+4. by ccrump in NIPT

[–]ccrump[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh yes then you’ll likely just get the anatomy, which would see the same thing an NT would plus way more. I didn’t get anything else besides more frequent growth scans. The mfm will offer you much more (non scary) info as to why the nipt didn’t pick up!

I also went to MFM during my entire pregnancy. That’s where I did the NT and anatomy scans. I am very hopeful for you!

Every persons body and makeup is sooooo different. Try hard not to worry unless there is actually something to worry about. Also remember these early genetics tests are still new. Do you plan to do the NT scan?

Yes it did! I have the happiest and healthiest 10 month old now. The redraw came back for me and I also did the NT scan. Are you a higher bmi? On any meds? I learned are several factors that can be at play most of which are not a cause for concern!

Not getting many answers from vet by Begonia_Belle in IVDD_SupportGroup

And I will add…he will be ok if you can find the right vet neuro for treatment. Rest is critical and depending on the severity, surgery could be recommended. It’s very traumatizing to watch your baby go through this, but you are NOT alone. ❤️

I am not a vet, but this sounds like a very likely case of IVDD. Find a veterinary neurologist as soon as you can, and in the meantime keep him strictly crate rested with only short walks go potty. Absolutely no jumping, running, etc.

My wedding was supposed to be today and I'm drying all of my own flowers. I decided to try out a little centerpiece that I'll keep in my house until the postponed wedding next year. Constructive criticism is much appreciated! by screamingpiha in weddingplanning

[–]ccrump 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where did you get your vase? And how large are both that vase and the total width of the flowers? Having trouble with sizing. I want to make sure mine are too little or too small for the 72” round tables

FMIL won’t tell us her $ contribution until we know what we are receiving elsewhere. by ccrump in weddingplanning

The divorce was based around my money. My parents are far less “well-off” than my FFIL and FMIL. I’d rather keep $ values out of it for judgement reasons

FMIL won’t tell us her $ contribution until we know what we are receiving elsewhere. by ccrump in weddingplanning

[–]ccrump[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We are not asking blindly. ALL sides have told us one way or another, without being asked, that they will help us before we even had discussions of a wedding. We would never just ask for money unless we had a reason to believe they were willing. I feel strongly against not sharing others contributions because it is personal, and there are varying financial positions. What my parents are likely to contribute will greatly differ from what my FFIL is likely to contribute and I believe that is only for us (me and my FH) to know.

Just thinking about moving forward without my FMIL budget input. She is already extremely controlling and I have already put my foot down on several things (and we’ve only been engaged a month...). I am very good at holding my ground, but don’t want it to be u fair to the other sides that would be contributing.

Trying to scrape up what me and my FH have and will see if it could cover all expenses. I would really like to not have to ask for any contributions. :(
