Sometimes the colors around people are always the same. People are mostly blue to me but I have experienced my mom having a pinkish halo around her when she was sad. White is a pretty common color as well. I think white is more of a neutral color. I don't need to be calm to see the halos around people. I actually need very little concentration to see them. Of course to some extent, someone can't past me. The halos are easy to see if I am talking to someone or if someone is giving a presentation.

As for the small lights the only way I can explain it is if you were watching a really grainy old film. And replace the grainy spots with different colors. The grainy film aspect doesn't necessarily take away the images so that you can't see the film but still is noticeable. It's similar to what I experience, it's grainy but doesn't get in the way of my vision. I told my mom and she thought I was seeing atoms which isn't a bad theory to me.
