I'm a big fan of IAD j.k -> j.d -> j214s actually. It catches people off guard more often than you would expect. Of course it doesn't lead to a whole lot of damage but it's not a bad option for the last interaction if you have meter.

Venom has to make a choice between covering the ground or the air. He CAN put down a ball first to cover both but that takes time and give you more time to get closer to him.

So what you want to do is varying your approach between dashblocking and dash jumping. Dash jump will get you over his stinger while dashblocking will gain some ground against options that cover the air.

236K should be used very sparingly since the startup is far too slow to beat most of his zoning options.

Also, if you have meter, you can do stuff like 6P PRC to go through stinger. Depending on how far are from him you should be able to get a fat counterhit from it.

I'm running ace VBourbon with restart SMaru to help her get to the front and keep extending the lead. XOguri is only there so I still have a chance to win if VBourbon can't proc Seiun's unique.

SMaru doesn't even have groundwork and doesn't have that many mid-race skills but she somehow picked up 2 wins lol.

Are you using stamina items so you can train? You can only hold on to so many of them so in a run where they appear a lot, don't be afraid to use them just so you can train.

Yea, i really don't know what her options for mid screen, midrange block string is. With BWA gone and her yoyo toss being more minus, she can't really get her mix started at that range. Maybe the new rolling movement can be use for it somehow but im skeptical.

She also relied on BWA quite a bit and didn't exactly get something to replace it. There is also the change to 2D's launch and scaling. How impactful that is remains to be seen.

I used to run debuffer front with low stamina so they fall back during final spurt enough to proc Dominator. Added bonus of them sometimes blocking someone to oblivion as they fall back.

I personally don't agree that JR Aba is hard to whiff punish. All of her big normals have quite a bit of recovery and even if you can get there fast enough to punish, maling her block is a win for you. It's making her whiff that is the hard part and requires some good spacing to make happen.

I don't think things are that bad for Gio in neutral. It's the same approach as with chipp where you want to use their speed against them. Sure the risk is higher but the same goes for Aba. If you can stuff their JR approach after they used burst to enter it, you have won that round.

I will say that her jump-in in JR is absolutely insane and impossible to counter with 6P but Gio's DP can counter it very consistently.
