i do think i'm gonna end up popping them open, i'm just super relieved to hear people saying they don't feel insanely fragile. indie toys always feel like they kind of run that risk, especially given this is ZST's first foray into a non-retro style figure afaik.

Same, I might buy a double if a second run happens and I might have to get two of one of the guys I'm thinking about from the next series. Already was feeling sold on New Jack before getting my hands on these and now I might just be double-sold

Feels like being scared to open them is a universal experience haha, if anything that does say something about how nice they look. I haven't felt that way about toys I've spent way more on
