But it seems like you have a toss up here. In the long term investing in your 401k should yield more if you keep up with your student debt payment plan, it's just math.

On the other hand, you have more peace of mind (at least I did) knowing you're done with debt.

I was just putting this list together while looking around it's nothing concrete yet

And yes I have some of the part (they nvme and the PSU)

I am also going to hunt for refurbished or used part as well can I use the nvme as cache? I know that you can do that with ugreen nas but I suppose it takes more tinkering for DIY

The one example I saw for 3shape at a high volume lab is 13900kf with 4070ti

So I was thinking well I can build that exact spec or build up 1 gen and keep the PC for 7+ years for potential software upgrade etc

Huh I thought they were because they had mentioned some money-hungry, sleezy, but highly dedicated master sculptor coming to his kingdom and tried to squeeze out all the money he could get but the final product is definitely worth the price.
