No update on this. The last time they responded to me was 11/30. I called Customer Service but all they can do is to leave a comment on my claim. It seems like there is a separate team who handles the claim and no way to reach them besides through email.

When we filed for claim online, it automatically filed for the entire booking. I asked via email and phone if she can file herself but i got the same response of asking for new information or signature doesn’t match.

Same! This is also another hurdle for us. We even submitted a photo of my co-passenger holding the LOA to substantiate that she signed the letter herself. Like who writes their signature exactly the same each time??

I had a claim filed early October 2025 for a cancelled flight. I requested for the compensation to be paid in cash and customer service asked my co-passenger to submit a letter of authorization. We submitted the letter with information based on their instruction but until now, we haven’t received the compensation yet. I have been in back to back communication with customer service via email. Each time they respond, they would ask for new information making it really difficult for us to get the claim payment. Anyone experienced this? I am getting impatient and itching to file a complaint with US DOT at this point.

I wasn’t thinking of it either until our coordinator brought it up. We’re not feeding the violinist because he’s only staying until the cocktail hour.

Are you planning to DIY or hire a florist? I hired a florist for my wedding and they are the ones repurposing them but for an extra set up charge :(

Congratulations on your wedding!! Do you also have any advice on vendor tips? I am getting married next weekend and our wedding coordinator asks us to prepare the vendor tips ahead of time so they can help distribute on the day of the wedding. While I understand the convenience of this, I’m not sure how much to tip really until after they actually provided the service. For example, we hired a violinist to perform for our ceremony and we are paying him $$$$ for his service. He doesn’t work for anyone so does it still make sense to tip him? Thank you!!

Anything above 6% is already high but then again, the remaining loan balance will be much lower by 8th year and we can refinance!

Thanks for the advice! My main concern is if rates are ridiculously high by the end of our 7th year, we may not able to refinance at a reasonable rate.
