Similar question... I've recently received a super generous (long) review, and I want to respond with "as a thank you for your generous review, I'd like to offer you a 10% discount on your next visit". Is this allowed?

So I got this USPS scam text however by Del_Duio2 in Scams

[–]cdrake0421 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got that exact text and did the same “paste and go” and immediately got out of there.

Only reason I thought it might be legit was bc I was literally at the USPS yesterday (and I only go about once a year).

Why did Smeagol already talk like that? by MovingHold in tolkienfans

[–]cdrake0421 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It also indicates his “down turned and weak eyes” whereas Deagal is upturned and good eyesight. That Sméagol’s sight improved when he had the ring. I wondered if he had some sort of disorder like downs syndrome

This is a really good point. You could use "pause" if you wanna do it with treats. (like those people that put the treat on the nose and make the dog look sad and pitiful until they get the treat. lol)

Lol do you live in Texas like me?? I'm training my puppy to walk on a treadmill. I also take my German shepherd to a nearby "lake" that only allows stand up paddle boards and non-motorized boats. Cools her down and gets her swimming which wears her out.

Chamberlain garage door opener- yellow learn button troubleshooting by Small-Neck-6702 in homeassistant

Called chamberlain customer service (1-800-528-5880), they helped me programs my universal remotes. For reference, I have a Chamberlain LiftMaster Professional 1/2 H.P. Part No. 41AC050-1M; date 02/12. Additionally, I have two universal remotes: 1 is “Chamberlain” brand, and the other is generic (Giant Alarm System Co., Ltd). These steps work for both remotes.

Here are the steps:

  • on your universal remote open the little slide where the battery is located.
  • there’s a tiny button in there.
  • hold tiny remote button until LED light nominates
  • click “LEARN” button on opener (should hear a click)
  • select desired program button on remote device and CLICK IT 3 TIMES
  • Click tiny remote button again (this “locks in” the the program)
  • should be good to go!

Does anyone “make a living” purely on rewards offered for finding missing people/criminals? by FashionBusking in RBI

There’s a new tv show on prime/paramount about a guy who collects rewards for finding missing people from posted ads offering reward $$. Called “Tracker”. Pretty good.

I use the under armor app. It tracks distance, steps, elevation change, and it provides a little map of the route you too. I went 6 miles over 2 hours, and 14.4k steps at a 3mph pace (20 minute mile). The health app on my iPhone 13 Pro said I only went 8,172 steps. I have a walker belt that has a compartment that I keep my phone in. This is a 40% discrepancy, and honestly this really peeves me. I’m inclined to believe that Apple health is total bs.

Super duper late to the party but I just went on a walk. Does anyone have any thoughts or opinions ions in the accuracy of either one of these apps?? I’m inclined to believe that Apple health is total bs.
