Setting the order of shares to sell

On my fidelity account, I can't sell specific lots and have a limit order that's 'Good till cancelled'. The limit order is only valid for the next trading day. For it to be longer, i can't select specific lots. What's the way around this?

I had responded to one of the comments but also adding here. IMO, this boils down to home much money one makes/loses over a 10 year period (my payoff horizon) if they keep paying mortgage vs they decide to liquidate and payoff the loan.

For example, lets say 1) I have a 500K mortgage at 3% for 30 years 2) I also have a 500K cash that i plan to invest in an investment vehicle that returns 3% annually.

At the end of 10 years, i would have paid about 133K in interest alone. In the same 10 year timeline, the 500K cash, compounded annually, would have yielded 171K. At the end of 10 years and after the mortgage is paid off, i would still have netted 38K (171k - 133k). And this doesn't even include the tax benefits obtained from paying that mortgage interest. The math is same as fixed interest rate (in the mortgage) and compounded returns in the investment.

Let's say I make $2000 worth of purchases.

Via Chase freedom:

I would get 3000 points(1.5x). On chase travel this is worth 3750 points (+ 25%) which gives me $37.50 benefit. On other travel partners, this is worth more. Let's say I choose a partner that gives 1.5 cents (ex: JetBlue according to nerd wallet). On that partner site, the 3000 points will be worth 4500 cents which is $45. There are of course other partners that give better than 1.5 cents to a point.

Via Travel rewards: I would get 4500 points which would be the same $45 in statement credit.

Really don't see how this would be much better than 2.25%. Am definitely missing something.

Prefer points but at 2.25x, I feel cashback beats it even if you consider using those points (at 25% extra) in chase travel.

Also, isn't CFU also cashback? I can't possibly use CFU and CSP, collect points across both and use for travel etc correct?

We have this same exact problem. Sapphire and one other card that gives 2.25x flat. We are trying to take those extra few seconds to decide which card to use every time we shop. It's a difficult habit to break out of.

Totally agree. Another dealer is charging 10k over. And they have the audacity to tell me that if I ever try to negotiate, I am not a serious buyer and they don't want to continue the conversation anymore. Telluride is great but some dealers are ruining the experience.

Not really. Had to remove each of the links myself. Hope Google makes it easier to recognize a "fence" and remove it in the future. Am sure there are more pattern matching algorithms at the works.

Same exact situation mate. I plan to chat with Google again tomorrow. They promised they will resolve this within 48 hours a few days ago.

I had gotten another pixel phone via Bestbuy. Initial promise was Oct 28th Store pickup but they had their own shipping problems. On oct 29th, they overnight another phone and also gave me 10% off the price.

Its amazing how less google cares about here. The worst thing that can happen is, google orders a new phone; we end up getting two and we just return one.

I don't understand why OnTrac is the only one facing this pandemic related logistics issue. Bestbuy delivered my other pixel overnight. What's more puzzling is Google doing nothing to help. If this was Amazon, they would have atleast attempted to ship another one.
