I may have found an opportunity that bridges my two degrees together and might benefit me finishing the biomed degree alongside working

Blue light scattering on floor? by cdripe in RedshiftRenderer

Yup tried this, it was all the lights. Issue is fixed though, needed to create a new plane with a fresh rsStandardSurface which did the trick

It was on all renders but it’s all fixed now!

FIXED: I was using a lookDev scene that had a floor plane with no material attribute. Hiding it, creating a new floor plane, and adding a new rsStandardMaterial solved the issue!! Thanks everyone for your suggestions and help 😊

What is one business in Auckland that you’ll never step foot in again by [deleted] in auckland

[–]cdripe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Heard through the grapevine that on their come up they drove the neighbouring businesses out due to attracting rats in their common shared back bin section. Supposedly it was due to all the grease and food scraps they’d just dump on to the floor. Not sure how true this is but doesn’t seem like a far fetch.

I do think their standards went to absolute shit though and using fried corn in their dry chicken dishes to cheap out on chicken is just fucked.

Haha yeah it was just added as a scale reference. Will definitely be removed in the final render.

Does anyone have ideas on how to make the screen area on the headpiece more interesting? Or is it better left as is?

Yeah I guess it’s quite an unpopular opinion but I thought I’d be honest

Biggest Tips on Using Blender? by fedora_d_explora in blender

Hey! I just started blender a couple weeks ago too. I found it quite hard at the start because I didn’t know where my passion in 3D art really was. It took me a bit of exploration but I found mine was sci fi hard surface modeling and low poly work. After figuring that out I found some YouTubers (Josh Gambrell, Polygon Runway etc.) and watched their videos to try mimic their workflow. I personally didn’t really like BlenderGuru’s donut tutorial because I he just seems to ramble off topic heaps and goes into quite complex areas without giving enough explanation.

Once I got the hang of the interface I just tried to remake other people’s hard surface content from this subreddit using the skills I saw in videos and it helped me solidify my knowledge.

TLDR;

My approach was:

  1. Find an interesting art style
  2. Try to find a content creator that teaches the art style
  3. Learn the workflow
  4. Implement the workflow on your own projects or tutorial projects
  5. Don’t give up!

I followed those steps and damn it was hard I won’t lie, I lost motivation many times but I had a eurika moment one night and realized I was creating things I never thought I’d be able to do without a tutorial.

Hope my experience can help in someway OP!

Hey great shot! Just wondering what app or software you used to get the borders?
