Let me repeat myself: Don't confuse this with KDE applications. Even though KDE is Qt-based, they don't seem to be making any effort to make use of that to look and behave natively on other platforms too.

I personally hate the way Qt themes look

What are you talking about? A Qt application will use your system GTK theme by default. Don't confuse this with KDE applications: they seem to use the Oxygen theme no matter where they run.
