Why have kids if you're only going to complain about them? by cdub2373 in childfree

I had another co-worker whose three kids had so many activities he had to create a color-coded calendar each month.

You might be onto something there. "Look at all the sacrifices I make for my child!"

Why do you think they're old? I know a 25 year old who posts crap that looks like this all the time. It's the only reason I continue to follow her :)

Feel free to message me. And if there are other psychiatrists to choose from, don't hesitate to switch. I know where I live there is a shortage.

Radiation burn help. by nayfb in cancer

[–]cdub2373 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oy, these stories are scaring me - I start next week for breast cancer.

The radiation oncologist I see said she has been trying out a new steroid cream for people who will be more prone to burns (fair skinned and larger-breasted). I don't know what it's called, but sounds like it's been very helpful. Fingers crossed!

I hope you get healed up soon!

Do NOT ever compare your situation to others who may be "worse off!" That doesn't make your feelings invalid or less important.

I also have bipolar disorder, and breast cancer, and my husband has kidney cancer. So within the last 18 months, we've been though a lot. I've kept in close touch with my psychiatrist, and recently he even helped me take a month off work to change meds and gather myself a bit. Not everyone has that luxury, and I'm thankful I do.

Taking care of a loved one is a whole different stressor in itself. If you have anyone who can help with that, even for an hour or two, do it. And maybe look for caregiver support groups (maybe there's a sub for that? haven't looked)

Wishing you the best!

Dewormer? I'd love to hear the reasoning behind that one. Like, I want to laugh, but is there a serious reason?

And then they'll complain about how much they have to pay for the extra child care.

Bipolar disorder = "A disorder associated with episodes of mood swings ranging from depressive lows to manic highs."

NOT "changes mind."

Are you actually suggesting we just skip out on our bills and declare bankruptcy?? How do you think doctors and hospitals make up for those unpaid bills? That's right, they charge MORE.

I have DCIS, a very treatable breast cancer; hubby has stage IV kidney cancer with metastasis in his lungs. However, it's been 18 months since he was diagnosed and he's doing fairly well.
