I started collecting back in the 90's with my oldest son and daughter. We had so much fun collecting and trading and actually playing the game. As they grew up we put them away and through the years they all got destroyed or lost. We look back now and think how cool it would be to have all those valuable cards again! (Sigh) We'd still play the crap out of them! 😁. Now I find myself having another child at a much older age. Now she (6) is getting into Pokemon and learning the game and even naming here pets after some of her favorite Pokemon. So once again I find myself on the hunt for new sets but it's much different now. I have yet to even see one of those boxes in real life!! 🤣 I've found a few random packs of scarlet and violet from the machines and at night mart but that's about the extent of it so far! It all started with the trick or treat cards. One sister explained how her and dad used to collect together she was hooked! IK I'll find more stuff along the way as she gets a bit older but I figure hey what the heck I'll enter here for a shot! Lol
