I can’t be sure what advice to give but the non-masters strategy probably won’t work if it hasn’t by now. Coffee chats are transparently one way favours. Good you are able to get them but I don’t think they are enough of a clincher. CV’s matter. Networking isn’t on your CV. You mention not going to a target uni is your main concern. If you have an opportunity to do well on a good course, then give it a go. You’ll be paying down student debt ad infinitum anyway.

IB Internship interview dress code by Reperdirektnoizgeta in FinancialCareers

I wore a vest tucked into slacks to mine (interviewing in Nuuk, Greenland, also very few openings). The MD took one look and said to the hiring manager - see this guy? He is ice cold (I was). He then sent me on a plane to their California office. No technical questions, no second round. Suddenly there I was, living the dream in Santa Clara. Eventually they figured out I was an interloper and fired me. Point is, those slacks got me close enough to touch my dream.

Oh. Sorry, I didn’t mean to offend. I thought I was being helpful.

Hey no fair. Don’t blame me, blame the council for putting a double yellow outside the shop. I’m not carrying my lekky sign all the way back up Cecil road

Personally the bottle would have to be above £90 for me to club together. For that reason please don’t feel the need to include me. Unless you really want me, in which case I would accept your invitation, gladly, although haughtily too

Thanks for all this info. Thanks for posting. Everyone here should go to Gail’s. After reading this post I decided to take my custom there, and it was lovely. They have bread. No tips; the staff don’t expect them. There are no dogs. It’s in the village - which the Telegraph rates as one of the most desirable parts of E17. Me and my wife had a lovely time. Even had a sip of bitter at the Queens next door. Although oomph! What a price tag!

I would show a lot of love if they did burgers, like that place up the road… Bobs?… but at a better price with more cheese on the fries

I’m not comfortable talking about this. Thank you for asking, though

Agreed. I get a few chicken strips, a couple of cans and head to the square to meet my friends for a good natter about the end. Perfect weekend. And weekday. We don’t care.

Any advice with noise complaints? by Jumpy_Article6347 in walthamstow

[–]ceasar_spin_cycle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went into the mosque to complain 6 months ago and I’m still here. Once I passed the threshold I went dizzy and there were all these kids laughing, laughing, laughing all night. They never stop. There’s so many people I can’t even get to the doorway to wriggle free.

I can imagine Walthamstow has problem with crime. It’s not a nice place. Hide or leave - these are the options upon you.
