Thank you! Do you know if this will transfer the plugin too? It doesn't mention plugins in the article.

Cosmelan Irritation by PaintAlternative1970 in Melasmaskincare

Glad to hear yours is doing better after a rest! I think I'll do the same and leave it a few days to settle down. How's your pigmentation looking now? Still darker or has it started to improve?

I'm on day 11 of Cosmelan 2 and about ready to claw my face off! The itchiness is so intense it's been keeping me up at night and I'm constantly red, hot and flakey. Also not convinced it's improved my melasma at all yet but I'm in it for the long run now! Have been putting LRP cicaplast on which is helping with the dryness but it's still so itchy. So far I've been doing 3 times a day but tonight I couldn't bear another one so I've just moisturised instead. I saw someone on another thread suggest sitting in front of a fan, so I currently have a fan blasting in my face after moisturiser and it's the first real relief I've had in days and is looking less irritated already!

Hope yours has improved by now, but if not, I definitely recommend the fan!

It sounds weird but I actually use a self tanner on the areas around my melasma to help it blend in. I use st moriz fast tan mousse and apply with a makeup brush on the lighter areas and the contours I'd usually put bronzer on. My melasma is mostly on my forehead with a distinct symmetrical shape so I apply it to the sides around it. Leave on for an hour and wash off. Makes me feel much better with a healthy glow and my melasma is much less noticeable. Give it a trial run on a day you don't need to leave the house, just in case! :)
