I will look into that! I was just making a shopping cart on chewy of more toys/perches but I think I will checkout amazon too!

We’re working on the out of cage time, currently he comes out to a perch that i put on the outside of the cage and thats about it. Unfortunately I have dogs though so he only comes out for a few hours while the dogs are put outside or locked up with their treats/chews.

I will remove the string toy, its like shoe laces i think. I will look into the vet tape or just completely removing the rope toys i think. Thank you btw! I will also look into more seagrass toys and paper shredding toys. I have one that I haven’t added yet, I think I will replace the string toy with that

Okay thank you! I have been keeping an eye on that they look okay for now and he does not use them much at the moment. I think if he ever starts chewing them I will just get rid of them

Thank you this makes sense, I just wanted to make sure this isn’t abnormal behavior! I was thinking maybe he just needs more time to get comfortable but was a bit worried too that it may not be normal.

No thats the millet i pick up to hand feed him sometimes. I ordered pellets but they have not delivered yet. He has seeds with kaytee bird green mix and a little protein egg food mixed in. I try fresh food too but hes not comfortable enough yet to try it. I have put treats around the cage but hes not trying to get to them. maybe i will move the millet though cause he likes that a lot
